Poringland WI Newsletter November 2023

 Poringland WI Newsletter November 2023

Thank you to those who helped or bought items at our first foray into Craft Fair selling.  It was a learning experience, mainly to not rely on the organiser to advertise the event widely.

Surprisingly, we raised over £150 mainly from WI members, friends and other stall holders as there were very few other customers!

However, £150 is not to be sniffed at, and we have booked 2 further Fairs:

Saxlingham Nethergate Christmas Fair in their Village Hall 2 – 5pm on Saturday 18 November.  Cake stalls, raffle, refreshments available etc.

Hempnall Craft Fair, Village Hall, 10 to 1pm Saturday 25 November as above.  Both are a chance to get some extra Crimbo presents and have coffee and a chat.  Would anyone be prepared to help on our stall for an hour or so?

Our Forthcoming Events

Darts – meet at the Oak on 2nd and 4th Tuesday 2pm. Next date 14 Nov.

The next Tea/coffee pm is on Wednesday 29th Nov 2pm at the Octagon Barn on the Norwich Road.  Just turn up for a chat and a cuppa.
